The resources of the Institute of Dental Implants at Good Samaritan Medical Center are among the most advanced in the United States. We offer the latest diagnostic technology, dental implantation surgery and jaw reconstructive procedures, along with state-of-the-art techniques for complete oral rehabilitation. The COMMCAT® Tomographic Imaging System used for diagnosis allows us to obtain an accurate picture of your jaw so that we can determine your needs and the approach that will provide you with the best results. Using this sophisticated imaging technology, we can show your computer-generated images of the type and number of implants required as well as any bone augmentation procedures that may be needed. In cases where bone augmentation is necessary to allow the proper positioning of implants, we use your own bone for grafting to assure the best outcome. Because dental implant surgery requires a sterile operating room environment, we typically perform these procedures in hospital surgical suites rather than offices. Our surgical suites feature special ventilation, lighting systems and equipment to assure that every procedure is performed in the safest and most comfortable environment possible.
